Delta Design Build partnered with tomboyART, ArtPlace Mississippi, and Steve Iwanski to produce the Shakespeare Summer Camp in 2017, 2018 and 2019.  Shakespeare Summer Camp, hosted by Greenwood Little Theatre, aims to cultivate a diverse new generation of actors, directors, creators and patrons for the theatre, forging lasting relationships between local artists and teachers, and to provide a service to the community by mentoring youth from various backgrounds and providing arts entertainment.

Delta DB’s work focuses on the design and construction of the set, which has included a rotating ship (see video), a bridge, and storefronts. The students assess the needs, work on drawings and measurements and fabricate the elements needed in each scene.  Team members at Delta DB are always excited to see what the Shakespeare crew will envision each year.
